Many proposed changes were announced in the recent pre-Budget report which, if legislated, will affect Inheritance Tax and Trust planning. It is worth noting however, that at the time of writing the author is aware that these are only proposals and they may change in form prior to the final legislation appearing in the Finance Act 2008.
